For a long time now I have been thinking about designing a dress for children that has multiple ways to wear it.

The result is hot off the press (well, the sewing machine!) It is an A-line style making it classic and easy to wear – it also grows with the child which means you can get a lot of use out of it.

It is reversible – so you can have 2 different looks – and the additional ruffled flower can be worn as a broach (simply button it on to the band of fabric on the appliqué side) or a hair clip (silver bar clip supplied just slides into the reverse of the flower)

These can be made to order in a variety of different fabrics – and with a choice of appliqués – just ask and I will see what I can do!

When it is eventually outgrown – another girl can still wear the reverse side – or stitch the flower over the embroidered name if you are handy with a needle and thread! In the pictures Eleanor wears an age 6 dress (she’s very nearly 6) – so the sizes are fairly generous.
