When a baby is born there are so many little things that you want to keep and treasure forever… Maybe a hospital band, first baby grow or some special cards. This large zippered pouch serves the same purpose as a memory box but you can display it in the nursery – so it will be on display – not tucked away in a drawer!
It features a baby photo, printed onto fabric as well as baby’s name and birth date. It is rigid enough to stand up on it’s own and has a zip to keep everything safe. The bottom fabric panel and matching lining add a nice touch of colour.
It also incorporates vintage style lace and roses – which are created from scratch. In addition, many buttons, including mother-of-pearl hearts, which are sewn on by hand (these may vary according to what I have in stock – but will always look lovely like the pictures)
The reverse of the bag can be plain, with just a band of coloured fabric at the bottom… or I can stitch on an item of clothing as seen here with one of baby Amelia’s little tops. This would need to be a flat item in baby’s first size (due to space restrictions). Not a longer item (such as a baby-grow) but a vest or little top or hat. This would need to be washed and posted to me in advance.
This zippered pouch will also be available in a smaller size (with a plain – plus band of coloured fabric – reverse) as well as other versions in neutral colours and blue – for baby boys! They will be added to my shop and website in the near future – watch this space!
